The Illinois State University Challenge Course is an excellent way to create energy and rejuvenate groups who have been together and know each other well. It is also a great way to get to know new members of your team or staff. The Challenge Course offers a variety of initiative games that address issues varying from silly games that loosen you up and make you laugh to building trust, improving problem solving skills and examining how your team or group communicates with each other. These activities arouse emotional, mental, and physical reactions that are present in all challenging life situations.

Challenge Course Programs Are Great For:

Registered Student Organization
RSO's that are interested in scheduling a date for the Challenge Course should first check out the Dean of Students web site at to find out more information about a $300 grant that is available to help you pay for your day. After reviewing the website, speak with your advisor and the Dean of Students office to begin the grant approval process. Once that is completed you can contact the Outdoor Adventure Program to begin planning your Challenge Course. We look forward to working with you.

The Challenge Course is always ready for booking. Please peruse the information on this site, then give us a call with a date in mind. Also, think about the amount of time you want to spend on the Course. We offer a three hour and a six hour course. If you are interested in a course during those cold winter months, we can conduct many activities indoors.
