Class Descriptions:
Bootcamp 101 - Enjoy this exciting circuit-style class that will take your workout to the next level. Gain functional strength and cardiovascular fitness in this effective and fun workout.
BOSU Blast - Build a stronger core, gain all-over strength, and challenge your cardiovascular system all on the BOSU.
Cardio Kick- A non-stop high intensity workout featuring kickboxing, athletic training and plyometrics set to heart pounding music. Class includes aerobic and anaerobic threshold training to push your cardiovascular system to a place it has never gone before.
Cardio Step - A high energy workout incorporating a variety of creative combinations on a step platform.
Cardio Strength Circuit- This class utilizes the plate-loaded equipment and other fitness tools in the Hamilton-Whitten Fitness Center for a fun and efficient full-body strength and cardio workout.
Cycle - An indoor cycling class consisting of varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and toning your lower body.
Cycle Endurance - A regular cycle class, just 15 minutes longer.
Dancer's Definition - Designed specifically for the non-dancer, this class blends Pilates, Yoga and fitness into a single energizing workout meant to sculpt, lengthen, and strengthen every muscle in the body. Taught barefoot.
Gliding Triple Threat- Have a great time building stronger legs, arms and core with this great new tool.
HardCORE Abs - The ultimate class for strong backs and sculpted abdominal muscles. This class will make you feel strong from the inside out by using your deep core and back muscles more efficiently.
Kick & Strength - A combination of Cardio Kick and Strength formats all packed into one awesome workout.
Pilates - This class will help you increase your core strength, flexibility, agility and economy of motion.
Pilates Body Sculpt - Push your Pilates to the next level with this creative and challenging class. A variety of equipment is used, including the stability ball, BOSU, bands and Pilates ring to intensify your experience.
Pilates Stretch- This class encompasses all the values of a Pilates class with an extra element of stretching in order to build longer leaner muscles.
Power Yoga - Enjoy challenging sequences of power yoga postures utilizing light hand weights to increase functional strength, core conditioning, and to improve flexibility and lean muscle mass. Class consists of slow movements set to motivating music while emphasizing form, execution and breath.
Relaxation Yoga - Relax by stretching out all the major muscle groups using a variety of techniques. A gentle total body stretch for flexibility, improved circulation, stress-reduction and relaxation for the body and mind.
Total Body Conditioning - Increase your strength and endurance while improving your cardiovascular fitness in this highly imaginative, total body workout. Using a clever assortment of props and weights, along with continuous, intense movements, you will redesign your body into one that is sleek and toned!
Upper Body & Lower Body Blast - Each class will focus on strength in the upper or lower half of the body. We will use limited tools for this awesome workout.
Yoga - A different kind of body toning; Yoga promotes muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Zumba - The new fitness craze that fuses Latin-based rhythms with motivating music, unique moves, and challenging combinations. Bring your energy and dance away your worries.
GROUP FITNESS POLICIES
You must show a valid membership pass to get into every session. Entrance is prohibited 5 minutes after the of start of each session in order to ensure that participants are sufficiently warmed up. All sessions are subject to cancellation due to low attendance. Check this page frequently for the most up to date information.
