Welcome to the Department of Recreation Services Personal Training Program! Our Personal Training program is designed to provide our guests with the individualized attention valued by Illinois State University. Benefits of working with a personal trainer include:

- Professional assistance in improving strength, flexibility, endurance, posture,
balance, coordination, and cardiovascular health.
- Instruction on correct form and technique for cardiovascular exercise and strength
training.
Getting Started
If you are interested in Personal Training, please stop by the Student Recreation Building to get the appropriate forms to fill out. For your convenience, the forms are also included on this website. You will still need to bring the forms to the Student Recreation Building, but you can fill them out ahead of time. You will need to fill out the Health History Form, PAR-Q, Preference Information, and Informed Consent. A personal trainer will contact you based on your eligibility. Fitness Assessments: $17This 45 minute session will give you your baseline fitness measurements by completing the following tests: Body Fat Composition, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility, Height, Weight, Girth Measurements, Muscular Endurance, and Blood Pressure Screenings.
Single Personal Training Session:
Member: $21
5 Session Personal Training Package:
Member: $100
Member - Any current Illinois State University Student, Faculty, or Staff, or person with
membership at the Student Recreation Building.
