Our newly renovated Free Weight Gym consists of a lower level and mezzanine level complete with top-of-the-line quality Cybex free weight equipment and accessories. In addition, the gym is equipped with new Iron Grip Urethane rubber dumbbells, Troy easy carrying rubber plates, rubber flooring and a quality sound system. Twenty-one contestants competed in this first ever Strongman Competition. Similar to the World's Strongest Man Contest on TV, this contest made good on its promise to provide a unique experience for the average Illinois State student with events like the Tire Flip, Van Pull, Atlas Stones, Keg Press, and Farmer's Walk.
